Your site has been so helpful in my research. I have grandparents and great grandparents, Kruep and Rohling from Clinton County. How can I get records from St. Francis Church? Looking for marriage dates/certificates.
Thank you so much to whomever has transcribed all these records!

Would it be possible to get a death record for Henry Budde. There were 3 listings in the index and I am unsure which is the correct one. The listings are as follows:
Page 38 - Record #489
Page 185 - Record #2378
Page 201 - Record #2585

Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I saw on that there was a Frederick Held of the 3rd Missouri State Militia buried in the Matsler Cemetary. I was wondering if there was any more information on this man or a church record of his being buried that may have any information on his birth and death dates. The photo I saw was a US Govt. headstone with no dates. My 3rd great grandfather is Frederick Held dob ~1833 and i am trying to ascertain if this is indeed him. Please contact me back with any information at [email protected]

Thank you so much for your time!
Bjorn Held

I noticed in the cemetery listing for St. Mary's cemetery in Trenton (Sugar Creek) that the date of my dad's death is wrong and my mother has since died and her dates are not listed.

Just have a correction for Clara Zirissette, buried in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Carlyle. Her last name is actually Zuriseller and maiden name is Oberman. She is my Grandfather's Great Grandmother. The rest of the dates and info is correct.

Hoping someone will do a lookup for me of a death record. It is in book 1. The persons name is Jennie French. She was 13 years old. She is on page 69. Certificate number 887. Any information about her would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Rita, this is the information contained in the death record book:

Age: 13-0-0
Died: Apr 11 1881
Where: Wheatfield
Cause: Cerebro spinal fever
Buried: Wheatfield Apr 12 1881

That is all the information it had.

I just found the last will and testament for Bena/Bina Hestin of New Baden. Bena the wife of Wendelin Hestin. Will dated 1906. In her will, Bena leaves to her husband Wendelin "the large house and 3 lots near brickyard situated on Spaeths addition to New Baden". Can anyone help me further identify where this property would have been?
Thank you, Julie Caton Spencer

Julie, can't tell you exact location but the Spaeths addition is Birch Street on the north, Clinton Street on the west, First Street on east, and the alley just north of Rt 50 on the south.

I am searching for information about Thomas David Cooper, b. abt. 1823. I came across a grave description in Jamestown Cemetery of a Thomas Cooper. This is the first record we've found in over 20 yrs.(if it is the correct Thomas Cooper)! Can anyone help me with this? There is no photo on FindaGrave, just a description: Birth and Death dates.
He was married to Mary Jane Crocker and he was a music teacher.
Thank you!
